Volunteers play a very important role in fulfilling our mission to prevent hunger, homelessness, and poverty in Yellowstone County and surrounding areas through community involvement.
Normal volunteer hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The schedule for seasonal projects may differ.
The minimum age for volunteering is 14, unless approved in advance by the Executive Director.

I lived without help for my whole life. But, after I was hurt in a car accident, my life changed forever. Family Service helps me with great food boxes and once helped me keep my lights and power on. My wife and I are so thankful.
