  • Monthly Giving – Budget your donations throughout the year! We’ll send you a monthly thank you and a year-end summary to help with tax filing.
  • Appreciated Stocks, Bonds & Mutual Funds – The most tax-efficient way to give! Contact us for direct transfer instructions to get the greatest out-of-pocket savings.
  • Deferred Gift Annuity – Earn a Montana State Tax Credit worth approximately 40% of your total donation! Limit of $10,000 annual credit per person. Gifts are permanently restricted.
  • Designated Bequest – As you undergo estate planning, consider a bequest to Family Service! Drafting your own will? Contact us for suggested wording!
  • IRA Contributions – Donate the Required Minimum Distribution to Family Service – and never pay tax on an IRA again! Funds must be transferred directly to Family Service to avoid tax penalties. Contact us for transfer instructions.

Before I had Emma, I worked three part-time jobs. As a new mom, I am shocked to find out how much babies cost. I am so glad that I came to Family Service because they helped me get a better job by paying for my CNA classes and now I work full-time. My grandma helps me with Emma when I am working, but even with that, I don’t make enough money so I get food help at Family Service and right before Emma was born, they gave me a layette. Thank you!
