Volunteers play a very important role in fulfilling our mission to prevent hunger, homelessness, and poverty in Yellowstone County and surrounding areas through community involvement.
Normal volunteer hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The schedule for seasonal projects may differ.
The minimum age for volunteering is 14, unless approved in advance by the Executive Director.

Chas: I grew up coming to Family Service. My mom, Olivia, is a single mom who worked hard all my life to provide for me. She still comes to Family Service when things get too tight. I am really proud of what she did to raise me right and glad that Family Service is able to help her when she needs it. Thanks to Family Service!
