Volunteers play a very important role in fulfilling our mission to prevent hunger, homelessness, and poverty in Yellowstone County and surrounding areas through community involvement.
Normal volunteer hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The schedule for seasonal projects may differ.
The minimum age for volunteering is 14, unless approved in advance by the Executive Director.

Grace’s Mom: I have really fallen on hard times; my parents are helping us out as much as they can, but they don’t have much to share. I can’t find employment that pays enough for childcare and car costs. Family Service helped with rent when we were being evicted. They also give us the greatest food boxes including meat and milk. Thank you!
