Food Assistance

Client Choice Food Room

We believe that individuals should have the opportunity to choose what types of food they and their families eat. Our Client Choice Food Room offers supplemental food so that our clients may choose what they need.

Every year, more than 60,000 households receive help through our food bank program.

The Basics and Beyond

We strive to provide fresh fruits and vegetables, multiple protein selections – such as beef, pork, chicken, fish, and beans, rice, dairy products—including milk, yogurt, cheese, and eggs, whole and refined grains like—bread, pasta, oatmeal, rice, cereal, and flour, and of course, non-perishables like—soup, canned goods, condiments, and much more.

True Story

Bob, Sam, & Sophia

"

My grandkids came to live with me when my daughter got divorced. It wasn’t ideal, but her life was out of control and this was best for the kids. Because I am on social security, money got very tight, very quickly. So, Family Service helps me do right by my grandkids, helping with back to school and great food boxes. This is their life now and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We all love Family Service!
